No doubt, there’s big money being spent for advertising by way of pay per click and viral marketing campaigns, banner ads, and the like. But, SEO is the road to take in order to rank, drawing free traffic from organic search engine listings. In fact, no matter how much money has been spent for advertising and promotions for your site, it doesn’t amount to much without implementation of SEO strategies. Search engines are picky and can only “see” certain things in order to read your content! They do not see images, Flash, graphics, dynamic content, etc. Search engines are text lovers.
If the SE’s can’t “see” you, you will not likely find a crucial position in the search engine results pages (SERP’s), which is the first 2 or MAYBE 3 pages. It’s a well documented fact that most people do not even venture to the 3rd results page to continue the search for their query.
