Blogging - The Quality vs Quantity Dilemma

It’s been said more than once that we should post to our blogs regularly, even at times when we may be under the weather or otherwise unable to submit ‘quality‘ posts.
Is this how we should view it? Or is this a huge mistake? Sacrificing quality is never the answer, as James Duthie (Online Marketing Banter) clearly notes.
“How many customers would continue to consume a product that sucked 67% of the time…? Why should blogging be any different? Readers are our customers… if we give them crap can we really expect them to be loyal?”
