    Thanks for the post Kim. For those who don’t have time to read, my experiences were:

    - Traffic was consistent without creating a Stumble like spike. My post on SEO Scoop has been the third highest source of traffic since being published.
    - The quality of traffic (measured via engagement metrics such as pages viewed & bounce rate) was higher than any other source.
    - The proportion of new readers wasn’t high, but this will vary wildly depending on the blog you guest post on.
    - The visibility of SEO Scoop provided far greater exposure for the piece than would have been achieved on my blog (I’m a newb).

    My recommendation - choose your blog carefully. A high traffic/high authority blog (just like this one) will reap the most benefits for the guest blogger.
